The physics colloquium is a series of presentations, usually given by visitors to the department, covering a broad range of topics within the physical sciences. The colloquia give an overview of a research field and highlight recent work, aiming at anyone interesting in physics, from (advanced) undergraduate students, to graduate students and to academics.
The colloquium usually take place in the Duncan Eliott Seminar room on Wednesdays at 12 noon.
The Department of Physics occasionally hosts other events like the Physics Bowl, International Masterclasses or conferences. For more information, view the full calendar.
