Professor Claire Spottiswoode is one of over 90 outstanding researchers from across the world who have been elected this year to the Fellowship of the Royal Society, the United Kingdom’s national academy of sciences.

Professor Res Altwegg from the Department of Statistical Sciences will present his inaugural lecture titled “Adventures in Statistical Ecology” at 17:45 SAST on Thursday, 8 May 2025.

Post-doctoral researchers from departments in the Science faculty will present their work as a poster in a conference style poster session. This event is organised by the Science Faculty Research Committee. Everyone interested is welcome.
