Kelly Chibale wins Royal Society Africa Prize 2023

Professor Kelly Chibale, who holds the Neville Isdell Chair in African-centric Drug Discovery and Development, and director of the Holistic Drug Discovery and Development Centre at UCT, has been awarded the Royal Society Africa Prize 2023

Sustainable chemist wins Rising Star Africa Prize

Dr Wade Petersen, from the University of Cape Town’s (UCT) Department of Chemistry in the Faculty of Science, has been announced as the winner of the Royal Society’s Rising Star Africa Prize for 2023.
