PHY1004W is a first-year, calculus-based introductory Physics course for Science students intending to continue with second-year Physics. It based on the Matter and Interactions curriculum.

 PHY1012F : Physics A for Engineers

PHY1012F is the first-year, first-semester mechanics and thermodynamics half course for engineering students.

 PHY1012S : Physics A for Engineers

PHY1012S is the first-year second-semester mechanics half course for engineering students, mainly for students who failed PHY1012F. PHY1012S and PHY1012F are equivalent.

 PHY1013F : Physics B for Engineers

PHY1013F is the first-year, first semester electromagnetism, waves and optics half course for engineering students. Students entering this course should have passed, or have been given credit and exemption (CX) from, PHY1012S or PHY1012F. Many students will have previously attended, but not passed, PHY1013S.

PHY1013S is the first-year, second semester electromagnetism, waves and optics half course for engineering students.

PHY2004W is a second-year course, aimed primarily at students who are majoring in physics.

PHY2010S is a course on electromagnetism for second year electrical engineers.
