Being a 'professional' game developer
15 September 2016
Computer Science alumni Richard Baxter will present the Department of Computer Science seminar with a talk entitled, "Being a 'professional' game developer". Richard says, "My name is raxter, it's not my real name but this is the name people most call me by. I've spent 4 years as a professional indie game developer following my masters degree in computational astronomy and I would like to share some of the lessons I have learned along the way. Key of these being how my training as a computer scientist helped (and sometimes hindered) my journey to where I am now.
