The Department of Statistical Science will present a new short course entitled, "Chain event graphs in modelling complex health and medical data".

This is a powerful new approach to understanding and presenting data.  Chain event graphs (CEGs) will be introduced, with lectures, discussion sessions and analysis using open source software.  Participants, statisticians and applied researchers will use CEGs to explore clinically relevant questions arising from local health data.
