Emeritus Professor John Parkington will present the Department of Archaeology seminar with a talk entitled, "Signs of Conflict and Identity".  

Conflict and Identity are reflected in different parts of the archaeological record from the Western Cape, although interpretation is contained by the conventions of practice. Two examples with a possible common cause are explored here.
