As of 2019, of the 3025 students in the Science Faculty at the University of Cape Town, 2269 are black South Africans and 756 are white South African.  The faculty is home to 475 international students (this includes both undergraduate and postgraduate students)  Many of our international students draw from the African continent more broadly and we have 332 international students from other countries in Africa. The Science Faculty is culturally and linguistically diverse.
