To find the appropriate publication for your paper, you can use a journal finder, or find out where Fitz authors already publish.
Journal finders
A journal finder takes your manuscript's title, abstract or keywords and suggests journals that fit. There are two kinds: publisher tools and cross-publisher tools.
Already know the publisher?
Publisher tools rank journals only from that publisher's own portfolio, never across competitors. If you are aiming for a Wiley journal, for example, use the Wiley Journal Finder.

Cross-publisher tools search across publishers, so they are the best place to start.

Where Fitz authors publish
Between 2020 and 2025, Fitz authors published 598 papers in more than 150 different journals.
61 papers appeared in Ostrich. After that, the spread is wide: leading conservation journals, ornithology titles, marine and polar science, and broad-scope journals such as PLOS ONE and Proceedings of the Royal Soc B.
The table below lists all publication titles in which Fitz authors published papers between 2020 and 2025, along with the total number of papers they published in each title over that period. (Journals with a single paper are not listed.)
