Dr Ursula Bryson

Ursula Bryson (born Franke) graduated with a doctoral degree in Philosophy (Clinical Psychology) Ludwigs-Maximilians-Universität, Munich, Germany in 1990. Since she got her ringing licence in 2002, she is actively ringing in Namibia and neighbouring countries.
Through her ringing teacher Kobie Raijmakers, her interest was directed to moult and the determination of age of the birds.
After retirement from a decade-long pschotherapeutic praxis and free-lance teaching in universities and privately-run institutions worldwide, Ursula has focused on publishing the collected biometric data. Since 2021 she has served on the newly constituted SAFRING Steering Committee.
