John Williamson from CDC, USA will present the Department of Statistical Sciences seminar, with a talk entitled, "Study design consideration with an interval-censored survival outcome".

John received his ScD in Biostatistics from Harvard University School of Public Health in 1993. He has been a statistician at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention since 1996. He worked in the Division of HIV/AIDS until 2003 and then in the Division of Malaria and Parasitic Diseases until present. He was stationed in Kisumu, Kenya at the KEMRI/CDC Field Center from 2009 to 2014 as Senior Statistician. His methods work has chiefly focused on agreement/reliability, survival analysis and clustered data.
