Whether you are an ornithologist, a conservationist, a citizen scientist or a devoted birder, we invite you to attend Learn About Birds, an exciting event which includes an interactive series of lectures, presentations and discussions which will be hosted by BirdLife South Africa and the Percy FitzPatrick Institute of African Ornithology.

Learn About Birds will showcase cutting-edge student research and also provide an opportunity for anyone with a passion for the natural world to learn more about birds.  Prof. John Croxall and Dr Alison Stattersfield, renowned ornithologists from BirdLife International, will be two of our guest speakers.
