Kim Stevens
BSc (Hons) (UCT)
Due to her interest in conservation and marine life in general along with a longing to get out there and gets some hands on experience, Kim couldn’t resist the opportunity to go to Marion Island on the 70th Overwintering Expedition team through the Fitz. Working so closely with various albatross and petrels inspired a new and great appreciation for birds, especially the seabirds breeding on Marion, in particular the Grey-headed albatross which is her current area of interest.
