Astro*Lunch & Journal Club
On alternate Mondays at 13:00, the Astronomy department hosts astro*lunch and journal clubs for staff, postdocs and postgraduate students. Astro*lunch is a departmental platform for academic visitors to talk about their research, for staff, postdocs and students to share their latest results and for general updates on departmental activities.
 

Colloquia
The Astronomy department organises regular research colloquia. Visiting academics, staff, postdocs and postgraduate students who have recently completed their dissertation present colloquia in the department. 

Postgraduate student seminars
Twice a year (July and November), the Astronomy department hosts a postgraduate seminar where all the postgraduate students in Astronomy present an update on their research
