Software requirements and science with KAT-7

This workshop is an invitation-only workshop for around 30 participants and will be the first in a series of workshops on transients with MeerKAT, the South African SKA precursor.

The topics to be discussed include source detection and pipeline/software requirements, science with KAT-7 and early results from affiliated projects. Also discussed will be synergies with surveys at other wavelengths.
