The 2016 meeting of the Pathfinders HI Science Coordination Committee (PHISCC), was held in Cape Town, South Africa, from 1-3 February 2016.
For PHISCC 2016 the aim was to bring together the people designing specific tools for the upcoming large HI surveys with the astronomers that are going to use them.
It was crucial that the two groups were well represented. The discussion was as much on the tools already developed as on the ones that still need to be developed. The meeting was a great success with more than 75 participants from all over the world.
The meeting was organised and coordinated by Dr Sarah Blyth and Prof Claude Carignan.
