SKA Pathfinder and Precursor HI Surveys: Commissioning and Simulation Needs

The workshop "SKA Path Finder and Precursor HI Surveys: Commissioning and Simulation Needs" is an invitation-only workshop for around 30 participants and will be the third in a series of joint UCT/ICRAR/Apertif workshops on HI survey synergies. The topics to be discussed include simulation and commissioning needs (data pipelines, sky simulations and source finders) for the various HI surveys on the MeerKAT, ASKAP, and APERTIF facilities. Also discussed will be synergies with surveys at other wavelengths.
