MeerKAT Science Busy Day at UCT Astronomy
On Tuesday 20 November, UCT Astronomy hosted a MeerKAT Science Busy Day where researchers from the Astronomy department shared and discussed early science results from the MeerKAT radio telescope array. The MIGHTEE and ThunderKAT legacy projects on MeerKAT-64 are already underway, and a number of results from early science projects with MeerKAT-16 were also presented.
The busy day was followed presentations from UCT Astronomy postgraduate students on Thursday 22 November, during our annual postgraduate presentation day.
