DATA SCIENCE MINOR DISSERTATION - MASTER OF SCIENCE

90 NQF credits at HEQSF level 9

Course outline:  The research component of the degree is based on a 90 credit dissertation. The topic of the research will be based on an analysis of large data sets from Astronomy

Entrance requirement: Successful completion of the coursework component of the Master in Data Science (STA5080W).

Assessment:  The minor dissertation must be presented for formal examination. The coursework and minor dissertation each count 50% towards the degree; each must be passed separately for the award of the degree.
