Theoni Photopoulou’s recent trip to Scotland

This year I was lucky to be awarded some funding under a postdoctoral exchange scheme, hosted by the Marine Alliance for Science and Technology Scotland (MASTS). Thanks to this funding, I was able to carry out research visits to two Scottish institutions, the Universities of St Andrews and Glasgow, between June and August 2015. Both visits fell under my general research theme of animal movement modelling. At St Andrews I visited Dr Len Thomas and Prof. Roland Langrock (now at Bielefeld University, and at Glasgow University I visited Prof. Jason Matthiopoulos. Both visits were very productive and I hope to return next year!
