Sasha Dines

Postdoctoral Research Fellow

Dr Sasha Dines is a marine biologist and bioacoustician specialising in cetacean acoustic communication and marine mammal conservation in Southern Africa. Her postdoctoral research at the University of Cape Town centres on killer whale bioacoustics, analysing local vocalisations and acoustic monitoring data to map the ecology, dialects, and population dynamics of killer whales along the South African coast.
