Ms. Christelle Dzesse Tekouo is a visiting PhD student from the University of Buea, Cameroon. Her supervisor in Cameroon is Dr. Emmanuel Nfor and she will be conducting research in the Centre for 18 months as an affiliate, under the supervision of Prof. Susan Bourne. She is the recipient of a part-time (sandwich) study plan Fellowship from the Organisation for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD), which allows for "postgraduate training fellowships for women scientists in Sub-Saharan Africa and least developed countries at Centres of Excellence in the South".

Her project title is "Chiral metal organic networks". The current research work intends to produce a series of metal organic networks, utilising dipeptides and other chiral molecules, the aim being to impart chirality to the metal organic networks. They may be utilised for chiral separation processes or for carrying out chemical reactions in a chiral environment.
