Education:
- Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Mathematics (2017)
- Master of Science in Applied Mathematics (2013)
- Master of Science in Mathematics (2010)
- Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science, (2008)
Research Interests:
My primary area of research is numerical analysis and mathematical modelling of infectious diseases. Mathematical models are developed and simulated using computers to deeply understand the dynamics of infectious diseases. These models are also used to understand how to mitigate the spread of infectious diseases. SADC is currently the main focus on the mathematical modelling of infectious diseases. I am currently collaborating with the Modelling and Simulation Hub, Africa (MASHA) based at the University of Cape Town. Other interests include developing numerical algorithms for solving differential equations.
