The Department of Mathematics and Applied Mathematics (MAM) offers two different Honours courses:

• Honours in Mathematics (MAM4000W), and,
• Honours in Applied Mathematics (MAM4001W).

Each course is a 1-year, intensive program of study. Each course consists of a number of modules, plus a seminar and project.

Academic matters and inquiries about the program should be addressed to the Honours Program Convenor, Dr Francois Ebobisse Bille (Room M314, telephone +27 21 650 3274, email francois.ebobissebille@uct.ac.za). The Honours Program Convenor is available for consultation on all general academic matters concerning the programme and, in particular, on structuring the degree for each student. Queries regarding individual modules should be directed to the lecturer concerned.
