NEW CHAPTER ALERT

Simon Todd (Honorary Research Associate at the PCU) together with Timm Hoffman (PCU Director), Joh R. Henschel (SAEON), Anabelle W. Cardoso, Michael Brooks (Animal Demography Unit (ADU)), Les Underhill (ADU Director) and others wrote a chapter on 'the potential impacts of fracking on biodiversity of the Karoo Basin' in the recently published book, 'Hydraulic fracturing in the Karoo: Critical legal and Environmental perspectives'.

In the Chapter, the authors, 'review and assess the potential impacts of fracking on Karoo ecosystems based on related research from across the world and interpreted in terms of the ecological characteristics and features of the Karoo environment'.
