African Mountains Research at UCT

A/Prof. Lindsey Gillson (Plant Conservation Unit) and Dr Rob Marchant from the University of York recently organised a workshop at the University of Cape Town’s (UCT) All African House, with a focus on African Mountains. Discussions were focused on the protection and sustainability of African socio-ecological systems, the impacts of climate and land use change over the last century and what this could mean for the future. The workshop was funded by the World Universities Network (WUN).
