UCT at SACI/RSC Young Chemists’ Symposium
UCT Chemistry department represented at SACI/RSC Young Chemists’ Symposium
On Friday, 17 May, ten of our postgraduate students participated in the Young Chemists’ Symposium, hosted by Cape Peninsula University of Technology, a joint event of the South African Chemical Institute (Western Cape) and the Royal Society of Chemistry (South Africa – Southern section). This was a very successful event bringing together Chemistry postgraduate students from the four Western Cape universities and giving them an opportunity to present their research in oral and poster formats. We were represented by Jacky Sorrel Bouanga Boudiombo, Athi Welsh, Ibiye Tonye Dagogo, Henrietta Attram, Kojo Sekyi Acquah, Sneza Mhkize, Nozuko Motamini, Larnelle Garnie, Nonkosi Matinise and Nicole Sykes. Thanks for making us proud!
