Honours applications
Applications close on 30 September every year.

The Chemistry Department aims to convey its recommendations to the Faculty towards the end of November and usually the outcomes will be available on the system in early December. You will be able to monitor the status of your application here.
Master's and Doctoral applications
Step 1: Establish whether there is supervisory interest in your proposed research by filling in the Show of Interest form.
Step 2: In the event that a member of staff expresses provisional interest in acting as your supervisor, then apply formally via the UCT applications portal.
