Dr Andriantsilavo (Tsilavo) H.I. Razafimanantsoa

Postdoctoral Research Fellow

Research

Interests: Palaeoecology, climate change, conservation biology, Landscape ecology, Palynology

Tsilavo holds a PhD in Palaeoecology. His research focuses on understanding long-term environmental change in Southern Africa during the Quaternary. It entails exploring the interaction between ecosystems and their associated drivers, including anthropogenic and climatic, through the interpretation of proxies such as fossil pollen, microscopic charcoal, dung fungal spores and diatoms.
