A double accolade for Dr Bogdana Radu

Congratulations to Dr Radu who has received the Prix d'excellence these/PhD thesis award 2019 from the Foundation de l'Université Jean Monnet, as well as the Prix Ami Boué 2019 award from the Societe Geologique de France.

Radu completed her PhD in 2018 as a joint PhD between the University of Cape Town and Université Jean Monnet de Saint Etienne. Her research focuses on the geochemistry of eclogite xenoliths brought up by kimberlites and the UCT component of her thesis involved measuring the oxygen isotope ratios of the different minerals present in a large number of eclogites.
