Planning to Apply? Don't be caught by bursary deadlines!

Many funding deadlines start falling due from mid-year for the next year's studies, including the NRF Freestanding, Innovation and Scarce Skills Masters and Doctoral Scholarships.  Be sure to keep an eye out for these and catch the deadlines before it's too late!

Keep an eye on the UCT postgraduate noticeboard for a list of postgraduate scholarships and any upcoming deadlines.

Prospective students are strongly encouraged to apply for NRF Freestanding, Innovation and Scarce Skills Masters and Doctoral Scholarships. The deadline for these applications range from the third to last week of July of the preceding year. It is very important that students identify a supervisor well in advance of this date so that arrangements can be made to secure funding for the intended years of study.
