Fitz PhD student Michelle Risi spoke to John Cooper, Emeritus Information Officer at ACAP, about how she plans to use long-term datasets to understand the drivers of seabird demography of birds that breed on remote sub-Antarctic islands. She will be using the Northern and Southern Giant Petrel as examples from which to gain insights into how such seabirds are being affected by and adapting to their changing world.
