This important discussion will explore how rapid urbanisation and land-use management continue to shape questions of justice, housing, ecology and climate resilience in South Africa. Featuring leading voices from academia, local government and civil society, the conversation aims to unpack the complex realities of land access, sustainability and inclusive urban futures.

The event will take place on Wednesday, 27 May 2026 at 18:00 in Lecture Theatre 2, Kramer Law Building, Middle Campus at University of Cape Town.
